Non-Domestic Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs)
Non-Domestic Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) are required whenever a commercial building is built, offered for rent or marketed for sale.
EPCs are now also required as part of any application for payments under the Feed-In-Tariff scheme, to prove that a property meets minimum energy efficiency standards.
Each EPC shows energy efficiency and environmental impact ratings for the building, along with a direct comparison of the property’s performance against others of a similar construction. This data allows prospective purchasers or occupiers to review potential running costs of the property.
A Non-Domestic Energy Performance Certificate is also accompanied by a Recommendation Report, detailing a series of improvements that could be made to the building in order to reduce the calculated running costs and overall environmental impact.
EPS Group has a skilled team of Non-Domestic Energy Assessors, all fully accredited to provide both Level 3 and Level 4 Commercial EPC assessments, and as part of our commitment to customer care, we will schedule the assessments at times that are most convenient to our clients.
All of our Assessors are also qualified to issue Domestic Energy Performance Certificates which means that they are perfectly placed to assess sites of mixed use such as shop units with a flat above, thus removing the hassle of dealing with multiple service providers.
