SBEM Non-Domestic (Commercial) Energy Performance Certificates
Following the recent implementation of The Energy Performance of Buildings Regulations; Non-Domestic Energy Performance Certificates (NDEPCs) are now required for the vast majority of commercial buildings that are offered for sale or let. Similarly, NDEPCs are also required for all newly constructed commercial properties in order to obtain a completion certificate from Building Control.
Each NDEPC is valid for 10 years and provides a rating for a building in terms of its energy efficiency and environmental impact, along with a direct comparison of the property's performance against those of a similar construction. Furthermore, each NDEPC is accompanied by a Recommendation Report that details a series of possible cost-effective improvements that could be made to the building.
Our team of Commercial Energy Assessors are fully accredited to provide both Level 3 and Level 4 assessments at times that are convenient to our clients. They are also qualified to undertake Domestic Energy Assessments which means that they are perfectly placed to assess sites of mixed use.
