In accordance with the April 2010 revisions to Part G of the Building Regulations, all new houses submitted to planning after 5th April 2010 must be shown to use less than 125 litres of water per person per day. This can be achieved by supplying Building Control with an appropriate Water Efficiency Calculation for each individual dwelling.
The water consumption target set out within Part G of the Building Regulations is the equivalent to the Code for Sustainable Homes Level 1 standard, which is an environmental assessment scheme that EPS Group is actively involved within. Furthermore the failure to comply with the water consumption target has an adverse effect within the latest version of SAP which is used to demonstrate compliance with Part L 2010 of the Building Regulations.
As EPS Group employ our own highly experienced SAP and Code Assessors, we are ideally placed to undertake Water Efficiency Calculations either as a competitively priced standalone service or ideally as part of an overall package incorporating any associated SAP calculations , Code for Sustainable Homes Assessments and Air Leakage Tests.
